The primary function of the freeze-dried powder FOX04 (often referred to as FOXO4-DRI) is related to the regulation of cellular aging. It can block the binding of FOXO4 to the p53 protein, thereby releasing p53 to initiate the apoptosis of senescent cells, reduce the accumulation of senescent cells, and slow down the related degeneration of tissues. Studies have shown that it may improve signs of aging such as skin aging and muscle atrophy, making it a subject of interest in the field of anti-aging research. However, most of its applications are still in the experimental stage, and its long-term safety needs to be further verified.
